Privacy policy
This policy describes how Stellar Corporate LLC handles information for the Spider Drop app and this website. For questions or parental privacy requests, contact troy@stellarcorporate.com.
Children and everyday play
Spider Drop does not require an account or ask children for a name, email, birthday, location, photos, contacts, or microphone access. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. A parent gate precedes pack purchases; Apple or Google handles payment authorization.
Child protection and parental rights
Spider Drop is designed for children, including children under 13. Children can practice math without creating a profile or providing personal details. The app has no chat, private messaging, public profiles, or user-uploaded content. It does not display advertisements or use behavioral advertising.
Spider-pack purchases are behind a parent gate, and Apple or Google manages payment approval. The gate is intended to involve a grown-up; it is not identity verification or verifiable parental consent to collect a child's personal information. Parents can also use their device's purchase restrictions and supervise access to the store.
Parents or legal guardians may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information provided to us, or ask us to stop further collection or use of their child's information, by emailing troy@stellarcorporate.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the child's parent or guardian. See “Retention and deletion” below for how device data, purchase records, and legally required retention are handled.
If you believe a child has shared personal information with us unnecessarily, or you have a child-safety concern about the app, please contact that same address. We will investigate and take appropriate steps to remove information that should not have been collected. Please describe the concern without sending a child's photo, full name, passwords, or sensitive documents.
For independent guidance, see the FTC's information for parents about children's online privacy.
Information stored on the device
Practice settings, chosen language, stars, level completion scores, selected spiders, and a cache of verified pack ownership are saved locally. This gameplay progress is not sent to our purchase-verification service. Device backups may include app data according to your operating-system settings.
Purchase verification
When an app-store pack purchase is completed or restored, the app sends its platform, pack product identifier, purchase identifier, and signed receipt or purchase token over HTTPS to our verification service hosted on Google Cloud. The service checks purchase status with Apple or Google to decide whether to unlock the pack.
Our Firestore purchase journal stores a cryptographic hash derived from the receipt, the pack identifier, platform, store environment, verification result, and last verification time. The journal does not store raw receipts, purchase tokens, payment-card details, or child profiles. Raw receipt data is processed for verification rather than written to that journal. Cloud infrastructure may process IP addresses, request timing, and technical request logs for operation and security.
Service providers
Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments and supplies purchase records under its own privacy policy. Google Cloud and Firebase host our verification service, purchase journal, and website. We use these services to operate the app, verify purchases, and protect the service. We do not sell personal information or use purchase records for personalized advertising.
This website and support
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising cookies, or contact form. Firebase Hosting may process technical request information such as IP addresses and access times to deliver and secure the site. If a parent emails support, we receive the email address and information included in the message and use them to respond.
Retention and deletion
Local progress remains until app data is cleared or removed; operating-system backups are managed separately. Verified purchase-journal entries currently have no automatic expiration and are retained to support purchase verification and troubleshooting. Support correspondence and infrastructure logs are retained under the applicable mailbox and cloud-service settings.
Parents may request access, correction, or deletion of information they provided by emailing the contact above. Include the app name and enough purchase context to locate a relevant record, but do not email payment-card details or a full receipt token. We may need to verify the request. Some records may be retained where required for legal obligations or resolving a purchase dispute. Deleting our records does not delete purchase history held independently by Apple or Google.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date when our data practices change.
